Matt Wigle to Lead Company’s Strategic Growth Initiatives

CHANTILLY, Va. (March 2, 2022) — Longtime environmental and engineering/construction industry executive Matt Wigle has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for growing environmental firm TechLaw Consultants, Inc. Wigle will lead strategic initiatives for the firm’s three operating divisions: TechLaw, TLI Solutions and AlterEcho.
“Matt brings us a wealth of environmental business experience and knowledge, which we plan to leverage to accelerate growth across all of our markets,” says TechLaw Consultants Chairman and CEO, Brian Shutler. “His ability to predict trends and bring diverse groups together will be instrumental as we broaden our industry reach in the months and years ahead.”
Wigle will work with Shutler and TechLaw Consultants COO Patricia Derocher to bolster the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) opportunities and corporate growth plans, building off recent federal, state and private-sector contract wins across a range of nationwide environment consulting disciplines. He will be based at the company’s Golden, Colo., office.

Before joining TechLaw Consultants, Wigle spent time in management and executive positions at leading AEC firms Kleinfelder and HDR Engineering, where he helped direct successful business development initiatives. He has also worked extensively with private sector clients, nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and small, disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses across multiple business sectors in private consulting, helping them grow their engagements and operations. He is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and a Certified Envision Specialist of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI).
